Two week program for a total body internal cleanse.Is it safe to take flora, high allicin garlic and first cleanse (Internal Cleanse)?
Why? Your gut is colonized with a bunch of helpful bacteria. If you think that yours is messed up, you should have a stool analysis done and be treated accordingly.





The ';total body internal cleanse'; is probably more of a ';total wallet cleanse';, but hey, it's your money.

Has anyone ever tried the diet pill - the internal cleanse does it work?

no I havn't but I can tell you that nothing really works except hard work and determination.

Yes. During my teen years I suffered from eczema and the only thing that helped get rid of it was doing a water fast for a week. It is the only health modality that I can endorse. All other so called remedies and methods mean nothing to me. I have seen and done too much to believe ANYTHING anymore. People smoke, drink and eat crap and live to 100. Others do everything they are 'suppose to' and are beset with illness all their lives. Whatever you do, don't believe in ideal diets or modes of behaviour - they do not exist and will just turn you into a neurotic person.





I should point out that it is dangerous to undertake what I did unsupervised and would not recommend it. I was at the end of my tether and was in a place I would not wish anyone to be. Be careful with whatever you try.

Internal body cleansing?

I'm about to start my life over persey in the eating/exercising department, but I heard it's good to do some type of cleansing first before so that you get better results. Has anyone does this or know of a good cleansing product to use? Thanks!Internal body cleansing?
Just eat a lot of organic, raw vegetables, organic yogurt and do a lot of exercises that promotes sweating. Get enough rest and you might want to consider taking a B-Complex vitamin with a multivitamin.


Using a sauna daily can also work wonders.Internal body cleansing?
Personally, I think that strategy is just a bunch of B.S. and here is why:





There most certainly IS a process for getting out bad elements in our system by eating correctly, but it requires dedication and time. Cleansing tends to invite the attitude of ';purging'; things out of you, such as to cause a discharge such as using Ex-lax or charcoal in extreme circumstances.





';Cleansing'; is not converting our system over to good health by eating good food and allowing it to change our body over time, rather, ';cleansing'; is that process which is either forced or drastic expulsion of even necessary elements in our bodies just to ';clean the slate';.





As an examle, before they eat escargot from local snails, as opposed to farmed snails on a strictly controlled diet, they suggest to feed the snails corn meal for a few weeks to get all of the toxins out of their system, which comes from the unknown vegetation that they have been eating in gardens and landscaping. That is not the same as purging or cleansing.





I think it is a highly desireable idea to eliminate salts, sugars, bad fats and carbohydrates, all of which promote tooth decay and heart disease, as well as to cause diabetes. There are ways to cook which will not be bland by eliminating those pollutants.





I am not a vegan, but there are a lot of honest things to be said about a primarily --not total-- vegetarian diet. Also, true vegans KNOW HOW TO COOK TASTY FOOD!!! They have to, they cannot use the ';tasty'; fats and chemicals that processed meat-based foods use!





There is a reason why cow milk and cow milk products as well as beef protein is bad for us, which is why I hate to give up Brie cheese! But quite literally, bovine cow mik and beef proteins are harmful to our diets. Goat milk is said to be more like human milk and their meat is the least fatty and cholesterolic of almost all bovine meat!





You have not mentioned what sort of lifestyle you want to acquire! Are you going to be athletic or sedentary? This information is also necessary to decide what kind of a diet you might want to pursue.

the cleansing will only prep you for weight loss, it won't cause any significant weightloss. It cleanses your body, and you will definitely feel more healthier though.
yes, and i wouldn't advise anyone to get them. i think they throw your natural body elimination system off track. i did it because i wanted to loose weight, but after i had it done, i begin to have a problem with constipation.

    We live in a toxic world. It's just a reality. We are in contact with lots of contaminants that are in the foods we eat, the air we breathe, and the water we drink and they get stored in our bodies. I recommend doing a cleanse at least twice a year. You feel so much better after doing it. I have used them before and recommend it. Get a cleanse that is total body...that cleanses everything like the liver, lymphatic system, colon, etc. One I used was dual action cleanse. You can get it at Wal-Mart.





    Oh, and you probably will lose some weight after using it, which is a good thing.

    Its a contraversy...Some say you dont need it because thats what the body's organs do, they are constantly cleaning...But I think that if you are going to do it, do it with caution, and remember you will feel like crap while your cleansing. A lot of people dont like to do it because it is kinda harsh. Look for a gentle one. It shouldnt be done more than 4 times a year. You can find great information if you google it. If you are searching for ways to better your body change your lifestyle, eat healthier organic foods, take vitamins, drink lots of water, and exercise regularly. It will increase your overall aura!
    i just had a colon cleanse done friday and it was great. I had it done at a spa instead of buying one of the over the counter pills. If im gunna spend the money i wanted to make sure it would work. It did feel a little akward while the water was flowing into my colon but when it comes out u see all the crap built up inside you. Plus they get out all the gas which really helps with bloating. I did loose weight after and i also felt so much more enrergized and ready to eat healthy knowing i was starting with a new slate a clean inside.
    I asked a pharmacist about this and she told me that all of those flushes and colon cleanse things were a rip off,a scam.Now I dont know but I would actually like to try a toxic flush...lol.

    Maple syrup is as close to pure sugar as you can get and still have liquid with some flavor.
    You are supposed to use a Grade B maple syrup. It supposedly has sugar that is better for you, with more nutrients for your body.


    You are supposed ot make a lemonade-type drink to help cleanse your body. It's spicy since it calls for cayenne pepper. I attempted to try it for about a week. I could only get through one morning!





    If it's for weight loss, I would not recommend it since you will gain the weight back as soon as you start eating regular food. If you want it to cleanse your body, that's one thing. But overall, it's best to just eat an overall healthy diet, eating in moderation. Hope this helps!!
    Maple syrup is sugar.
    Beyonc茅 said she lost 20 pounds in two weeks! Gosh! Anyway you are supposed to drink a mix of maple syrup, lemon, water and chilli pepper INSTEAD of ANY food for the whole 2 weeks. If you ask me, that's 100% CRAZY. Sure you'll lose weight, and probably get sick in the process... but... when you start eating again, then what?

    I use Prosit to keep clean, you can take it daily to keep your colon clean. After a few weeks Prosit will have cleaned your colon and your blood, I have used it for over 3 years and swear by it..... it makes your body clean!!!

    The diet originated as a ten-day regime (five days for those not used to fasting) under the supervision of a practitioner. The ten-day fast should not be carried out too frequently. Even for weight loss, the maximum frequency is repeated ten-day fasts with four weeks or more between each one.


    Most adults benefit from a fast once or twice a year. However, because of the high xenobiotic load most of us carry due to chemical pollution in the environment, many toxins are released into the bloodstream during a fast. These are more toxic to the brain than in the past, and naturopaths now may recommend more frequent, shorter fasts, such as three days per month.


    As with any fast it is extremely important to start with motivation! It is equally important to break the fast very slowly; to waken a sleeping digestive system with proteins and fats can cause serious illness such as kidney damage. First fruit juices are introduced, then fruits, followed by light foods over a few days.


    During the fast, only the recommended liquids are taken, together with any prescribed medication as advised by the patient鈥檚 doctor, or homeopathic medication prescribed by a practitioner. No solid foods are taken, or vitamins, non-prescription drugs or other supplements. Patients should be able to continue their normal activities because the drink contains a good balance of nutrients and provides 600-800 calories per day, though endurance may be somewhat reduced, and during the first 1-2 days they may experience headache or dizziness as the toxins enter the bloodstream.


    Light exercise and breathing exercises are a great complement as they increase blood flow and elimination of toxins through the skin and mucous membranes. Similarly, saunas and steam baths are helpful. Colon cleansing is also important. Gentle laxative (detox) herb teas (Cascara, Dandelion, Golden Seal, Licorice root, or rhubarb root) or salt water are part of the daily regime for fasts of 5 days or longer to prevent constipation. A litre of water with two teaspoons of sea salt will flush the colon effectively within an hour. The salt ensures that the fluid is not absorbed from the gut.





    Before the Fast


    Patients need to stock up with lemons, spring water, cayenne pepper, detox herb tea, and any other herb teas such as peppermint, as well as a litre of Madal Bal tree syrup.


    The night before starting, a laxative tea may be taken.





    Daily Regime During the Fast


    Make up 1-2 litres of lemon drink. For a 1-litre bottle, use 70ml Madal Bal tree syrup, 70ml fresh lemon juice (juice of about 2 lemons), topped up with spring water. This is the day鈥檚 supply to be taken ad lib, warm or cool, with a dash of cayenne.


    During the day, drink at least 1.5 litres of water and herb tea in addition. Mint tea complements the lemon drink well.





    After the Fast


    The first day after the fast, take only fruit juices.


    The second day, take fruit juices and then some vegetable soup in the evening.


    The third day after, eat healthy food!





    Safety


    Colon cleansing is optional and may not be necessary for shorter fasts. If required, first thing in the morning, cleanse the colon with salt water or laxative (detox) herb tea as described above. In the evening, take a laxative tea if required.


    Fasting is NOT recommended for patients with chronic degenerative diseases, such as cancer, tuberculosis and neurological disorders, nor for hyperthyroid patients.1 Although useful for regulating underweight as well as overweight, it would not be advisable in true anorexia.


    The Lemon Diet does provide balanced nutritional support to the body, but there is no formal evidence about adverse effects. Research into the benefits and risks is badly needed. The only known adverse effects are the dizziness and nausea typical of any fasting regime, as mentioned above. Its widespread use and continuing popularity are some indication of its acceptability.


    The diet can be conducted unsupervised by a healthy person for short periods, but both practitioners and the supplier recommend having support, advice and supervision from a practitioner. Special caution is needed if the person is taking medical drugs of any kind. Patients with low blood pressure (hypotension) may need to take a cup of coffee daily when fasting.


    Underweight patients can use proportionately more tree syrup (but not lemon juice) per litre of drink, in order to minimize weight loss. Any loss is rapidly regained after the fast is completed because of improvements in appetite, digestion, absorption and organ function.


    The regime is not recommended for diabetics. Naturopaths may be interested to know that Stanley Borroughs used a modified form of his Lemonade Diet for insulin-dependent diabetic patients, but close supervision would be essential.


    Alcoholics and smokers should aim to reduce their intake before the fast; the company claims that cravings are reduced or even eliminated by the fourth day, and do not return. I have not yet had the opportunity to put this to the test!





    Evidence for Effectiveness


    Fasting in various forms has been used for centuries in many cultures for its cleansing and health-promoting effects. Adults and children who are Hindu or Moslem regularly practise fasting (e.g. in Ramadan) in the East and the West. Fasting has not been extensively researched, but there is perhaps more formal evidence than you might imagine, especially in studies of patients with rheumatoid arthritis.5


    In France, the fast is taught and used by the homeopathic training college set up by the late Dr Catherine Kousmine, and is used in her clinics as a basic preparatory treatment to retrain patients in healthier eating habits. Practitioners report that homeopathic medicines are outstandingly effective during the diet. A French medical doctor, Dr Tourasse, reported on a case series of 122 patients in the 1980s.4 Of these, 96 sought weight reduction, and 49 had a wide variety of other disease conditions, from ulcerative colitis to depression. In the first group, he noted an average weight loss of 3-6 kilos following the fast. Only 14% of patients were not satisfied with their weight reduction. Unexpected improvements were found in psyche, joints, skin conditions, allergies and gynaecological function. In the second group, almost all the patients reported improvement in their conditions.     The most natural way to cleanse your colon is taking plenty of fiber. Fiber provides the bulk required in moving the toxins to the bowel. You need at least 25 to 30 grams of fiber every day.

    Drink water. It'll clean you right out.
    The thing about cleansing your body is you have to do it gently and progressively. You don't want to shock your system. Start by adding broccoli and salads to your diet, eat multigrain bread, use small amounts of butter and throw away the margarine. Use natural peanut butter, jam instead of jelly, honey instead of sugar. Add yoghurt to your diet, the kind with live cultures. Don't eat anything fried. Eat vegetable soups often, even if you have chunks of beef or chicken added. Avoid refined carbohydrates, like pasta, rice, potatoes, sugar-coated cereal, white bread, and popsicles. A small dish of ice cream a couple of times a week is fine. About 2 weeks after you've begun these changes, get a bottle of 90 capsules of powdered dandelion root. Take 3 capsules 3 times a day until they are all gone. This will purge your liver of toxins. Wait 2 weeks, then get a bottle of 90 capsules of milk thistle. Same thing, but this will purge and heal your kidneys. Two weeks after you've finished the milk thistle regimen, begin to add a gram of pure MSM to your diet. MSM is organic sulphur.........tastes NASTY, but it will help your body heal in many ways. I get my MSM in the horse section of the local feed store. It costs about a third of the price of tablets created for human consumption, tastes just as yukky, and is just as healthy for my body. Oh, and drink lots of water, and cut the juice out of your diet completely. Juice has no fiber and lots of sugar.





    If you are going to insist upon shocking your system, dissolve a tablespoon of epsom salts in a quart of water, drink it all quickly, and then keep sipping ice water as it does its work. This will flush your bowels, but you run a risk of becoming dehydrated.
    Just let nature do it naturally by eating healthy and exercising

    I was actually trying to get an answer for the same thing. I am on say 5 on internal cleansing and my faci broke out so bad!! I read though just to be patient becuase it is the toxins excreting from your body. It should clear up afterwards. Do not give up though.. at least you know its working. hth.
