The Oil Cleansing Method goes with the theory that oil dissolves oil, so it helps clear up acne.
Does this work for oily skin? I tried it yesterday. I made a blend of about 2/3 Olive Oil and 1/3 Castor Oil. After, my skin did feel a little drier, so I put on a hint of moisturizer. But then it started to feel kind of greasy. What am I doing wrong? Will it be different after I start doing it more often?
Another question about Castor Oil. Apparently, it helps regrow hair. If you put it all over your face, will you start getting hair everywhere?
If you've tried out this method or have more information, please answer!!!! Thank you so much.Acne cure: Oil Cleansing Method?
It will take a little while for your skin to adjust to the oil you are putting on it. Right now, it's used to producing a lot of it's own sebum to counteract the cleansing products that you use to strip it off. So it will be a bit before your skin adjusts to not having to produce extra oil. A few weeks.
I don't have any extra hair. I have heard that it improves the look of your eyebrows and eyelashes.
