I'm wanting to try to cleanse my face with oil.?

I have read some things on the internet about the oil cleansing method. I went to Whole Foods and bought castor oil, grapeseed and apricot kernel oils. I also have jojoba, which I use to moisturize. I am 25 and my skin is very combination. Its oily but tight and dry feeling. The jojoba has helped this a whole lot, this is why I want to try to cleanse with oils now. What's a good oil cleansing recipe for combo skin that likes to break out now and then? Please don't suggest other cleansers or brands. Thanks!I'm wanting to try to cleanse my face with oil.?

i just found this site

wonder if it actually works...I'm wanting to try to cleanse my face with oil.?
I've not heard of ';cleansing'; with oil, rather, that is more of a conditioner for your skin.

If you have tightness in your skin, then oily patches, the solution may not be topical...perhaps a change in eating habits would help by transforming from within.

First start with drinking enough water...that's the first thing that will show the most benefit the fastest. If you are drinking 1 soda a day or more you will need at least 8 MORE 8 ounce glasses of water just to replace the oxygenation stolen from your body by one soda. Along with coffee or other high caffeine drinks (caffeine is a diuretic and will dehydrate your body fast), you could be wringing the moisture right out of your skin, which is probably why you are stuck with oily patches. Drinking enough water will also improve your mood, help fight fatigue and keep you regular.

Next, eat foods high in omega 3, like walnuts, salmon, or simply adding flaxseed to your cereal or meats while cooking. Get more daylight exposure...not tanning, but maybe 20-30 mins a day in the sun will coax your skin into producing your natural vitamin D--essential to good skin and bones.

Finally, be sure to exfoliate your skin in the morning and evening with a gentle wash cloth and your favorite light cleanser. My grandmother has used noxema cream for decades and has the smoothest, porcelain skin I've ever seen.
is u use oil it will clog your pores, and make u break out...
I like using tea tree oil on my face . It stings a little bit but it really helps to keep the skin clean . Its not that expensive either.
cleansing your face with oil will just make it break out more
ok, i know this is not an answer but would you mind letting me know what you found out and what you tried? i personally never heard of oil cleansing
here is a recipe i got out of my organic body care recipes book . it is for oily and combination skin. remember, oil removes oil and it will actually dissolve and breakdown the dirty oils in your skin. use it daily. follow up with a toner.

lemony whip cleansing cream

1/4 cup plus 3 tablespoons hazelnut or apricot kernal base oil

1 tablespoon coconut base oil

1 tablespoon beeswax

1 teaspoon anhydrous lanolin

1/2 cup distilled water or lemon balm hydrosol

1/4 teaspoon borax

1 large or two small vitamin e oil capsules

20 drops of lemon essential oil

10 drops of sweet orange essential oil

* heat everything over low heat and then add the borax until it dissolves. then when it cools, put it into a blender and mix it all up for about ten to 15 seconds.
if you go to the organtic food store youll find extra virgn olive oil .use that its great
