no. it will actually dry your skin out, and sometimes makes you itch, which will make you scratch. i would recommend the avon clearskin line. it cleans your skin but doesnt dry it out. if you dont want to buy that, then i would recommend using a gentle soap or a facial soap.Is it good use alcohol to cleanse your face to get rid of excess oil?

it will only produce more oil...
alcohol strips your skin of good bacteria that your skin needs. also, alcohol is really abrasive so it could damage your skin in other ways. use a non-alcohol cleanser.
I don't know for you. When I use it, it dries out my skin completely. I suggest just using a face soap. Good luck.
I have heard no because it is so strong and damaging to your skin and any time you clean oily skin with a strong cleanser your skin creates even more oil to over-compensate
