Question about OCM (oil cleansing method)?

So, I'm going on a school trip next week. We're staying in a low maintenance place, and there are 24 people so I doubt I'll be able to do the OCM mainly because it takes a long time (at least 5 minutes to rub in, then steaming face and rubbing away more than once). Also, I don't know how hot the water gets. Should I just quit for the week or continue with possibly lukewarm water and less rubbing in time?
